Roger Allen
My name is Roger Allen. I was stationed in Italy, on a B24 Bomber as a tail gunner, with the 759 Squadron, 459 Bomb Group. Our plane, "Slightly Eager", was shot down June 9, 1944 over Salsburg, Austria. Our pilot, Lt. Ferguson, and two others were killed. I was taken prisoner and held in Stalag IV in Tychow, Poland.
