Herman Biver
S/Sgt Herman F Biver attended the following military schools: Kesselar AFB,MS; Willow Run,MI and Gunnery School at Tyndall Field,Fl and was a flight maintenance mechanic and aerial gunner who received the aerial gunner`s badge 8/22/44 and the Air Medal with 1 oak leaf cluster and had 15 + or - combat missions. He served 2 years,7months and 4 days in the AAF and had 4 months and 10 days of overseas service. He is credited with 5 Bronze Stars for participating in the North Appennnines,Po Valley, Rhineland, Central Europe and Combat Balkans Campaigns. He ws separated from the service at Squadron C 3505th AAF BU< Scotts Field, Illinois 10/9/45. We are seeking more information on S/Sgt Herman F Biwer so that we can help his nephew Harry Hamilton.
