Lt. Lawrence E. Rafferty - 759th Squadron
I am writing to request the addition of my Father, Lawrence E. Rafferty be added to the 759th bomb squadron listing. I believe he would have been a 2nd Lt or Captain at that time. He was credited with 50 bombing missions in 1944. He was killed in March of 1951 in a military plane crash after his reserve group out of Ohare were reactivated for service during the Korean War. If you or any of your members have any information about him, please let me know. His hometown was Highland Park, Illinois. Thank you for your help.
