S/Sgt. Paul H. Frackman Born 3 Feb. 1919; Died 29 July 1985 during admittance to Veterans Home in St. Cloud, Minn
The 15th AF MIA letter dated 4/10/45 caused a lot of hardship for the Frackman family, as Sgt Paul Frackman & crew were already back in Italy 3/24/45 and no longer MIA. The family had been previously notified they were safe when this new notification came to them. Roger Frackman said "The letter to Mrs. Martha Frackman, who was Paul Frackman`s mother, really caused some grief because somehow the parents had already been contacted about my dad, via some other method that is unclear now. Then about 2 1/2 weeks later this letter arrived and my Dad`s father, Franz, about had a stroke".
