James Hill
 Sgt. James Hill during training in 1943. 2nd Lt. James L. Hill, 459th Bomb Group (H), 759th Bomb Squadron. Lt. Hill was a replacement crew and on his first Combat Mission. He was assigned to the 759th 21 July 1944 and was MIA in 28 July 1944. He was a POW in Romania until 30 August 1944. He was a Flight Officer until commissioned a Second Lieutenant, 8 September 1944.
B-24 G-16-NT 42-78354 Morgan. Crash Date - 07/28/1944, Disposition CrL/Flak. Mission No 83 on the Mission List, Plositi Romania, Oil Refinery. The only Aircraft lost by the 759th on that date.
James Louis Hill passed away in 1999 and is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, California
