Missing Air Crew Reports (MACR)
When a plane went down behind enemy lines; the Army and Army Air Forces created a file or document. They called these Missing Air Crew Reports or MACRs. These files began during mission debrief and included basic facts about the plane and crew along with eyewitness statements. Some are brief while others are extremely lenghty. We are not able to provide all the pages of some of these documents because the computer file size of these PDFs are too large to load or download via a web brower.
