Organski, Edward S. May 14, 2005 Edward S. Organski, 80, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday. Born in Syracuse, he graduated from Vocational High School and was a sheet metal layout technician for Carrier Corp. for 36 years before his retirement in 1982. He was a communicant of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6282 and the 459th Bomb Group Assoc. He served his country with pride with the US Army 459th Bomb Group 757th Squadron in Europe during WWII. Survivors: his wife of 52 years, Virginia; a daughter, Julie Knighton of Corning; two sons, Stephen (Mary) of Rock Hill, SC. and Larry (Shellie) of Otter Lake; a sister, Stella Organski of Syracuse and nine grandchildren. Services: 9 a.m. Wednesday at the GIMINSKI-WYSOCKI FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Interment with military honors at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 1320 W.
